What days are practices and games?
Specific practice days are determined by individual coaches. There are typically 2-3 practice days a week until games begin. Once games begin, there are usually two games a week and coaches choose to practice one day, with the exception of T-ball. Little League recommends no more than two events (practices and/or games) for T-ball players.
*Please note, make up games due to rainouts may be added throughout the season.
What equipment does the league provide? What do we need to purchase?
The equipment needed to be purchased by families:
Glove
Cleats
Game pants (Color decided by coach.)
Socks
The league provides a few bats and helmets to each team for players to share. Many families choose to purchase a bat and helmet specifically for only their child to use. When buying equipment for your child, please note that baseball bats must have the USABat logo and softball must use bats marked specifically for softball. Helmets for baseball and softball must only have manufacturer modification (c-flaps). For more specific information or to check if your child’s bat is approved, please follow the following links.
