All Baseball and Softball players ages eight (8) and older MUST attend a player evaluation. 

Steel Lake Little League is committed to providing an optimal playing experience for every child. To ensure proper division placement, players will be evaluated using a standardized rubric, demonstrating their skills in fielding, batting, throwing, and other key areas. Each player will have ample opportunity to showcase their abilities at various evaluation stations.

Our priority is to create a positive and enjoyable experience for all participants. We rely on volunteer support to make these evaluations run smoothly. If you're interested in volunteering, please visit the Volunteer section of our website to register as a Parent/Guardian Volunteer.

Location and time

Player evaluations are typically held in mid-February. Specific dates and times will be communicated via email in mid-January.

To accommodate varying schedules, we will offer at least two evaluation sessions. As space may be limited per session, we encourage early registration upon receipt of the notification email.

Players are only required to attend one evaluation session.
